THE MODEL
Most residential programs treat addiction in one place and mental illness in another, leaving residents to carry information between them. Dracut House uses an integrated model: substance use and psychiatric care are delivered by a single treatment team, working from one plan, in one house.
Residents keep working, keep custody arrangements, keep court commitments. The structure of the house — a daily schedule, group work, clinical sessions, medication support and shared responsibility for the home — is what makes early recovery survivable while the rest of life continues.
